I just installed a Maytag dishwasher in my new kitchen. The instructions tell you to use this bracket when installing with a granite or Corian counter top. Looking at the picture I realized they don't look alot different from the top mounting brackets. I looked at the dishwasher sides and it has the same slots as on top. I installed the top brackets in the side slots, slid the dishwasher in and drove in the screws. One bracket went beyond the cabinet and was visible on the outside. I cut it flush with the cabinet and BINGO!. Dishwasher secured. Try this before getting the brackets here. May be a waste of time and money...

Kit came as advertised. Just wished they threw these in with the rest of the dishwasher. However, these side brackets fastened easily to the cabinet sides and hold our dishwasher rock-solid in place.

Why doesn't Whirpool include these with the dishwasher? Seriously now. Anyways, this works for mounting to the side of two cabinets etc.

Maybe it's just me, but this was actually my second purchase of this kit because I broke the first one trying to figure out where to bend it and how much, etc. Once you figure out that it mounts in the BACK of the dishwasher and then BEND it towards the front of the dishwasher, then you are golden. Or at least that's how it worked for me.

After a year of the dishwasher sliding in and out, this was a relief

Worked perfect. I didn't realize Whirlpool didn't include these with a new dishwasher. Don't most people have hard surface countertops? Regardless, the seller offered a good price and shipped very quickly.
