Shockingly bad quality - one star because zero stars is not an option Sep 11, 2007
By RadioMaven Having shopped for a good hex-drive screwdriver set for some time, I finally ordered this one. It had rave reviews in many places and the manufacturer, Wheeler, is widely touted as a quality manufacturer. I ordered it along with the Wheeler torque-wrench. I could not have been more disappointed.
The screwdriver's tip holders were off-center (a simple machining issue) and their attachment to the screwdrivers shaft was crooked. The finish was a light and cheap chrome. I was appalled to such an extent I haven't used the tips -- I wouldn't trust them.
The Wheeler torque-wrench was a similar disappointment. Poorly constructed and made from cheap materials. I have not tested the accuracy of its torque feature. I have lost confidence in this manufacturer. It amazes me that buyers of Wheeler's products are so uncritical. Anyone who has ever used high quality tools will run a mile from these products. Buy CK screwdrivers from Germany instead. Mine are 20 years old, never once stripped or broke. They are even straight!

Not quite as advertised Mar 17, 2007
By Aaron Masavage This set is okay at best and my only real problem is I cannot find a country of origin. It has the look and feel as coming from China, a little cheaper than the price lets on. It is worth $50, but not 96. Some of the blades have defects in them, the handles are cheap. Overal it is just not a high quality set.

Very Low Quality Proudct Aug 11, 2010
By I. Khan I bought a set from Amazon. Bits are made with inferior alloy, not even hardened. I tried smallest bits and they twisted before opening the screw. Also, does not include any thin bits which are needed for shotguns.

Disappointing Surprise Mar 10, 2011

I was looking forward to receiving this screwdriver set. Tired of cheap, poorly made junk from China, I was excited to find this seemly well made quality set at a reasonable price. Instead of the fine quality precision hardened alloy tools as advertised that I was expecting, what I got was cheap, poorly made junk from China. I could have bought this quallity at another national chain for $50 less if cheap junk was what I wanted. Amazon should be embarrassed that this sham of a tool kit is on their website. Oh, and by the way, I will be returning it.

Poor Quality May 29, 2011

Well, I've had this set for a couple years. It hasn't seen a lot of use, but several pieces have already broken, and the fit and finish of the items is rather poor. The wide variety of heads is nice, but the low quality of steel used, means you'll be looking for something better before long. Warranty is only ONE YEAR, so do yourself a favor and buy something better than this junk.
