The heat will only last for a week. Mar 21, 2011
By J. Mendes
"JMendes"
I bought the ValueRays mouse thinking my days of frozen hands were going to be over with. The heating portion of the mouse only lasted one week. I emailed the company and they told me I had to buy the warranty when I made the purchase to get it fixed. No where does it mention that on the amazon page. So the device pretty much only serves as a mouse now. Funny how no more heat but yet the mouse actually still works.
UPDATE: The company has allowed me to buy a warranty for $15 and they are shipping me a new mouse. The customer service is pretty fast and better than what I really expected. I'm giving this another try because when the mouse did work it was excellent. I just need something that can last from 9-5 and then some for at least a year. I don't care if I have to replace the mouse every year, but every week/month won't work.

It's great! Sep 01, 2009
By Carlene Brown The ValueRays®Warm Mouse I is a two button mouse with a scroll wheel. It has a smooth metallic finish and an on/of button to shut off the heat supply when it is not needed.
To get started you simply plug the USB cord into a USB port, I was not able to use the USB ports on my Apple keyboard because the Warm Mouse uses too much power for that hub, Turn the heated mouse "on" by pressing the control switch located on the USB cord. Quickly the mouse warms and begins to generate heat. It is recommended that you turn the mouse "off" when not in use. Turning the switch "off" only shuts off the heat supply, you are still able to use the mouse which makes it very convenient at the times when you don't need the heat.
I have used a one button Apple mouse since the beginning of time and thought I would have trouble adapting to this two button scroll mouse. Not true, it is so very comfortable and easy to use that I was off and surfing immediately. The warmth is very soothing to the hand, I didn't want to remove my hand from the warm mouse, and the shape fits my hand comfortably. The ergonomic shape also makes the scroll wheel easy to use.

Love the warm mouse; wish the scroll wheel worked Dec 01, 2010
By pdxsk8r I been using the heated mouse and mousepad for about a year and having the warmth is really great. My hands were constantly uncomfortably cold from using the mouse and keyboard in a work environment and this allows me to get my work done much more enjoyably.
The mouse pointer works well however the scroll dial does not. Turning the scroll wheel causes the scrolling to often go the opposite way and then jump all over the place. I wish it worked because I love using the wheel + Ctrl key to zoom in and out. I also wish the mouse was available in a larger size as I have large hands. However even with these complaints, the warmth makes it worth it.
If cold hands aren't an issue for you, this isn't a good product for you. But if you suffer from cold hands when using the computer and don't mind the issues I mentioned, I would recommend this.

Value Rays warm mouse Jul 03, 2010
By J. Cardinell My brother got me one for a plug in on my MacBook, and I love it! Beyond only having an Apple touchpad anyway (which means more buttons on the mouse and faster scrolling), the mouse keeps your hand a little warmer (not hot) and helps reduce strain on the hand when doing hours of computer work with spreadsheets. I like it a lot, and bought ones for both my dad and his girlfriend. They seem pretty stoked on them too. A great product- I'm surprised nobody thought of it sooner!

Where has it been all this time?? Nov 02, 2009
By Amy M. Smith Oh I'm in heaven. Always had a freezing mouse hand. Got my heated mouse and heated mouse blanket today. They really work, and they work great! Toasty, toasty warm. I am thrilled and highly recommend these products! Could not be more satisfied.
