5Love this stuff!  Aug 27, 2008 By Molly Dickens
This dried fruit mix consists of mangoes, papayas, and pineapples cut into approximately quarter- to half-inch pieces. I can't find any locally that are cut small so I order these from Amazon. They are perfect for snacking - I always mix them with pecan halves. It's addictive!

5Good substitute for candy  Feb 01, 2009 By Sharon Shurley "Feekie"
These little nuggets are very tasty and good to reach for instead of a candy bar. They're not hard which I thought they might be since the morsels are small. Instead they're soft and suitable for cereal topping, cookies, yogurt, etc. -- or just right out of the bag. I like them better than raisins.

This product is simply awesome...specially the mango and pineapple cubes...you gotta try it to understand what I mean...moreover the price at Amazon is cheaper than retail price at local stores in Orange County area...so I always order it off Amazon...truly speaking I am addicted to it!!! :-)

1Changed the formula...  Aug 06, 2010 By deadite
Well, not really. What they have done is change the size, from the fantastic small size bites to big chunks. As an engineer, I know exactly why they did it - its cheaper from an energy consumption. The larger sizes are not as dried out, and so take less energy to get the surface consistancy right. However, this changes the overall consistency, and makes them useless for the sprinkler, the snacker, or the person who mixes them with nut. So now this is no better than any of the other types of dried fruit. Sun-Maid has made a serious error- if they feel its too expensive to dry them, then raise the price - don't get rid of the bite size bits we loved....
