4Cuttin' Horse Pocket Knife  Dec 31, 2011 By imb21again
My husband received this pocket knife as a gift from a close friend and liked it so well, that when he lost it - I knew I needed to order this for him. When my husband received the New knife he was so pleased. My purchase of this knife was a very good choice! Thank You!

3Smith & Wesson CH002 Cuttin' Horse Plain  Oct 28, 2011 By Skinink66
Bought one of these for myself as I needed something that would work, but not be overtly obvious when being carried. I work in emergency services and don't need this advertised when being carried as a weapon, but as a service tool. I purchased it because it is lightweight, durable and has the trusted Smith & Wesson moniker. Construction is good.

I was disappointed in two areas. First, having gotten wet the first time, it rusted very very quickly. The screws used to hold it together were completely covered in rust almost immediately (I had used oil on those areas previous to the rain). I was able to brush them down and re-oil and they held their blackened color well. Secondly, the pants clip became loose after the first two uses. Almost to the point that it would not securely hang on to my pants pocket. I was able to fix this as well, but I was disappointed that it happened so quickly.

Overall, it's a good little knife. For the price, I bought two more shortly hereafter. I just came to expect the Made in China realization and expected to have to do a little work on these myself!

4Knife came not as sharp as I expected.  Feb 28, 2007 By SH
Knife came not as sharp as I expected. I sharpened it which solved my problem. I have other Smith & Wesson Items purchased from local hardware which had better workmanship than this. This item came from Camping Gear Outlet. Good Knife, once you sharpen it.
