5fun salads - and healthy too  Apr 29, 2009 By V. Wiedemann "2 avid readers"
I ordered these quail eggs to make the Japanese "bird's nest salad" that is one of our favorites. Then I found if you use the ginger dressing from that salad to marinate the drained eggs with diced or julienned beets you wind up with something that's even BETTER!

These canned quail eggs are just a bit rubbery/chewy on the outside which you expect from an egg which has been cooked twice. The centers are so creamy they remind you of a really great deviled egg.

I'm glad I found these eggs on Amazon because they sure aren't available in any grocery store within reasonable distance of where we live! Thanks, Amazon!

5Quail Eggs  Oct 11, 2010 By Fishing
Used them to make hot pickled quail eggs. Delicious, much better than regular eggs, came out almost creamy yolks, pickled quicker and more thoroughly.

3Just ok - they lost a lot of flavor being canned.  Sep 27, 2009 By Tuff Gong
From Taiwan, they lost flavor being canned. They are nothing compared to the freshly boiled ones. I would not buy again.

5Quails Eggs  Mar 19, 2012 By dorothy elliott
Thw Quails' eggs were exactly as described. They are delicious & particularly when served with celery salt. They are also good in coq au vin.

5Quail eggs worth buying  Nov 23, 2011 By Shana M. Ryan
When I was a chef, this item was used so often on relish trays, veggie trays & etc. This brand has always been the best one for me. I was so glad to find it online. Quail eggs go over great while entertaining & yet small enough to just snack on right out of the can. Grab some cans for your next party.
