So far, So good Mar 05, 2009

When I picked these up on amazon about a week ago, they were actually going for $6.87 a piece, now they are up to almost $29 a piece, but I would still buy them. I bought these for my F-150 and her 3" straight pipes. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, and I was worried I was going to have to drop $75 or $100 bucks on exhaust tips and then have to weld them on or find someone who would for more $$$. These took 5 minutes each to install on the exhaust pipes and they're on rock sold. The finish is nice and shiny (not quite as good as chrome, but close)and they look great. They bolt on using 3 small bolts towards the rear and an interchangeable bracket system. All you need is either a ratchet or crescent wrench and a little bit of time. They don't effect the sound from your current exhaust and they don't cause any more or less back-pressure on the engine. Not sure how well they'll hold up over the next couple years, but for the money, give it a shot.

Sharp looking tip and easy to install Mar 03, 2012

Bought this exhaust tip for my Nissan Armada and her 3 inch pipe. It looks great and was so easy to install. I'm pretty savvy at working on my vehciles, especially for a female, but this was so easy a cave woman could do it! It really accentuates the chrome trim on my truck and luckily doesn't make it too loud, which is illegal here in Cali. I think if you want it louder you can adjust where the tip sits on your exhaust pipe, and maybe have it sit a little farther forward to give it a louder sound. I tried that originally, then set it back farther which made it sound like it originally did before the tip. I don't need it to be loud, I have a 5.6L V8 and I know it, I don't need to make it louder than it already is. Plus, I don't want to get a ticket. But I DO want my exhaust tip to look sharp, and this definitely does that! I highly recommend this tip.

I bought this tail pipe after reading the so far, so good review. I looked at a lot of exhaust ends and I liked the design of this one the best. When I got it in the mail the size was a little bigger than what I was expecting, I was expecting something cheaply built and small. But it's weight is heavy and with it's high polished stainless steel should last forever. I put it on my Suburban and now my Suburban has some class like a Cadillac Escalade. I paid $30.57 for it on Amazon and think it's well worth the money even if your not comfortable with the clamps it comes with and you have it welded on. I used the clamps that came with it and I'll see how well they work out.

Looks great and it make a sweet sound in my Silverado. The item got here in two days arriving before none on the second day. Great!!!
