4Otis patches  Jan 07, 2011 By CERT21
Otis all caliber patches are of decent quality, useful for cleaning the bore and barrel. The one thing to note is how to attach them to the cleaning rod. You have to slip the tip of the rod through the patch slit (inner or outer depending on bore size) and then pull a small piece of cloth back through to snug it up. If you do it right, it won't come off without a good tug. If you do it wrong, it will fall off with the slightest touch. A little tricky the first time. You can find details on the Otis website or in their kits on how to use their patches.

5Great patches  Mar 22, 2011 By YSC1911
I thought these patches were a little pricey when I bought them. They have turned out to be a pretty good item though. I can usually get through cleaning one gun with just one patch and a rag. The design of the patch allows you to attach it to your cleaning tool and adjust it to fit the bore pretty easily. When one part of the patch gets dirty just reattach in a different hole and there is more clean areas of the patch to use. I also flip the patch over to use the other side of it as well. I've used other thinner patches but end up using a whole lot more of them because they are not as substantial as the Otis ones. Overall, I would say these patches are worth it.

4Good, but not great  Sep 11, 2011 By Doxiedad
I got these for cleaning my .223 as well as my 12 gauge. I love the Otis system, but they are a little difficult to use on the .223 compared to the specific .223 patches. They work well, but you really have to make sure you get the fold correct.

3ooppss! Should have read a little more about the product  Dec 11, 2011 By twinpine25
I thought I was just buying some gun barrel cleaning patches. Didn't realize it was a component of an entire cleaning system, so I can't use the product as intended. But, I can use them for wiping down small parts, etc. As I re-read the product description, I see it vaguely indicates this is a component for use with other tools. Disapointed, but not totally unhappy.

5Very nice cleaning patches  Jul 19, 2011 By Glen
If you clean your pistol, buy it, it is made of high quality and not too expensive. Works best with Ballistol.
