This product is the best for spas with ozonators Sep 03, 2011

This product is the best sanitizing product for spas with ozonators. I have eliminated almost all chemical products (Nature2 Mineral Sticks do need a teaspoon of chlorine to activate the minerals) and my water is clear, clean and odorless. I have used these for about 4 years and Amazon offers some of the best pricing that I can find.

Helps keep spa water clean, odor free, and lowers chemical needs Jan 03, 2010
By Ski Doc I've been using this product for about 2 months in my spa. We use our spa at least 5 days a week. I've been very happy with this product so far. It significantly reduces the amount of chlorine you need to keep the water clean, which reduces both chemical odors and other odors. Note that you can use this with regular chlorine shock sanitizer crystals. I don't like the chlorine odor, and with the Nature2 you can run about 1-2 ppm on the chlorine and it stays clean, but doesn't have strong chlorine odor. I haven't tried the Nature2 brand chemicals yet, but may give that a try.
Does anyone know the exact mechanism of action of this filter? It seems to me like it is probably just an activated charcoal filter. The manufacturers website talks about silver but doesn't go into details of how it works. Just curious.

Great replacement for chlorine. Jul 14, 2011

We have a large hot tub and were using chlorine. Every time my girlfriend got in the hot tub she would get a rash and start itching. After extensive research and reading online I found many other people that had the same problem and it is generally caused from the chemicals associated with chlorine. Several people suggested using the Nature2. I purchased one, drained the hot tub and completely cleaned it. I filled it, adjusted everything and put in the Nature2. All I can say is WOW. My GF has not had a rash since. This is a great product and it is about half the price online as in the local store.

Works great - requires MPS for shocking Sep 26, 2010
By J. Foulk This is a great way to sanitize your spa without smelly or irritating chemicals. This is odorless, works great, and only needs to be replaced every 4 months. You will have to use MPS (non-chlorine shock) every time you use the spa to get rid of organic wastes, especially after having several people in the spa. If you don't use the shock the water will get murky. This is so much easier than constantly adding chlorine or bromine. You will be glad you switched.

Every spa owner should buy these Dec 18, 2011

I am one that reads reviews all the time, but am terrible at posting them either good or bad. This product however deserves press. We don't use our tub nearly as often as we used to. When we would get the urge, we had usually been too busy or lazy to keep it up. That would then start the process of a major shock, then maybe get in the next day. This little doo dad allows us to check our tub about once a week, add a touch of chlorine and in business. One caution, it will throw off your water testing results. Ours will always show Alkalinity low, PH high and chlorine low. We talked to local spa dealer who claims to us that with this product, don't worry about it.
