Enough Room in the Shower to Invite a Friend Jan 18, 2009
By C. Hayden Highly recommend. We have traveled a lot, and by way encountered all manner of shower enclosures. This product is quality, relatively easy to install (installed 2 in under 1-hour), and good looking. Anyone who has the standard cheapy rod will feel like they have arrived (at least, while they are still in the shower). Anyone who is substituting this for a glass enclosure, will feel like they just added on a room addition.

Review of Moen 5' Curved Shower Rod Feb 23, 2010
By Sethna Though the unit is designed well and should work well, its length is not adjustable even by a few inches. Most 5 ft. shower stalls or tubs are not truly 5 ft but are either a few inches longer or shorter. Mine turned out to be shorter and hence could not use the curtain rod as provided. The designers at Moen, should have been sharper and aware of this issue when they provided a fixed length rod. You'd be better off buying a curved rod from a competitor which has an adjustable feature.

Classy Dec 31, 2009
By JoBob Having dealt with the old style spring loaded curtain rods for years, decided to buy 2 of these for my daughter's new spec / custom house. Bear in mind there is no adjustment to the rod. One has to cut rod to proper length and drill 6 holes to install. These were installed on tile surface. I used a cheap (Harbor Freight, China) spade style masonry bit to drill tile with no problem. Shower wall tile is way softer than floor tile. We upgraded as many things as we could during the construction but due to our limited socio-economic status, we soon found ourselves in danger of going over her loan limit. The showers were one thing we reluctantly had to leave up to the builder. Of course he uses standard builder grade fiberglass tub/shower combo's which is why I bought these in an attempt to purty up a somewhat plain looking shower. It worked. My daughter loves these and along with a pretty but inexpensive curtain (Bed,Bath,Beyond), they have become a sort of centerpiece of her bathrooms. All of her friends comment on them and she frequently reminds me of how much she loves them.

Installation Easy in Minutes Sep 23, 2009

Item arrived very quickly in excellent condition. Easily trimmed and installed in well under an hour. If installed on tile, you will need to use or purchase a masonry drill bit (not provided). Just cut the rod to the proper size and drill the mounting holes per the instructions provided. Once your finished you will have more arm and elbow room for sure. Great!

Okay .... Nov 16, 2010
By Buyer Arrived as promised. Installed in less than 30 minutes. Seems to work fine. In the future, I will buy one that is an adjustable length, not fixed length as this one. Although cutting the relatively thin metal is easy to adjust the length, cutting at the correct angle to fit the decorative covers and mounts is beyond my technical skill.
