Description

Mobil 1 15W-50 Motor Oil is formulated with SuperSyn, an extra-high viscosity synthetic fluid, plus extra anti-wear additive to provide extra protection for severe service applications such as towing, hauling and racing. This motor oil is recommended for high performance vehicles including turbocharged and supercharged engines where a thicker oil film is desired. Mobil 1 15W-50 is also recommended for older valve train designs that may benefit from a higher level of anti-wear normally not required for newer generation vehicles. It will also provide better anti-wear protection for higher valve spring tensions in certain racing engines.

My particuliar car requires a specific quality of oil to be used. Most auto store locations do not offer this type of oil. So I was glad to find that my car needs were met on-line at Amazon.com.
Also I aquired a specilized filter that was needed for the extended life
motor oil on-line at Amazon.com. Oh, sure these items could be purchased at the dealer but at much higher prices. The filter was also perfect so I am good to go for over 10,000 miles of driving once again without spending a lot of money at the dealer for a specific oil and a specific filter that they supply.

weight I use stopped being carried local. was cheaper to order than using a lot of fuel driving around looking.

I use this oil in my GMC Motor home. It is a fully synthetic oil, which hardly oxidices. I am very happy with this oil and recommend it to any one with this specifications. I wish amazon carry the 5 qts container with a price cheaper than the seperate qt price.
