Great paper, very good on fiberglass Jun 30, 2000 I have used this paper on a fiberglass kayak I am building. Compared to Norton paper that I purchased at another place, this paper has very little loading. I am still replacing it about every square yard of sanding but the Norton paper is pretty tired after about a square foot. The Norton paper also costs 5 times as much. This is a great product.

These ARE a great value! Aug 08, 2004

First of all I have to say that the reason why I happen to be writing this review is because I was on Amazon ordering another box of these sanding discs! There is no higher praise in my book than a return customer!
Now for the review: I have to agree with the other positive reviews and say that I have long been a fan of these Mirka sanding disks. I am a home woodworker whose projects range from DIY stuff around the house, to refinishing, to building fine furniture projects. I have been using these discs for years (in every grit from 80 to 220) and could not be more pleased with the smooth surfaces they produce with my rather inexpensive sander.
I completely agree with the assessment that although these are not the absolute best hook and loop discs on the market, they have performed every task I have asked of them. Overall, I would give this product an A- for quality/performance, and an A+ for value.

Great 80 grit paper Aug 03, 2001 Much like the 60 grit paper this has outstanding cutting and lasting capabilities. Would recommend it to anyone.

Best I found yet Feb 11, 2010
By Scott Carpenter These were purchased for my Bosch orbital sander. They work great, especially if one remembers to start and stop the sander when it is on the wood. Otherwise it could come flying off after some use; but when used diligently as directed, works great. So much better than anything I found at the Big Box stores, who never really have a wide selection of anything decent.

Best sandpaper on the market Dec 31, 2010
By L. Podrasky I recently refinished my dining room floor. The floor had a dark stain and finish over oak. I wanted to see the wood and grain so I decided to sand and refinish with polyurethane. I used a large orbital sander on a floor in my last house and I wrecked my floor so I decided to use my hand belt sander and hand orbital sander and refinish this floor the hard way. My floor is 11x14 plus I redid a small 6x8 hallway and stairs going up to the second level. I used my belt sander with 80 grit paper but since it dug in I mostly used my hand orbital sander with 80 grit and 120 and 220 grit of the Mirka sandpaper. The floor came out pretty. I ordered 2 boxes of the Mirka 80 and I still have 1/2 box left and most of the 120 and 220 left. This sandpaper made my job so much easier. One disc will go a long way. I really love this product.
