Flea and Tick Free Jul 08, 2008
By K. Hill My dog is a Chow mix and very furry. Ticks are impossible to find under her two layered coat until it's too late. At first, I tried cheaper brands. They work on ticks but do nothing for fleas. Then my vet recommended Frontline. I later tried K9 Advantix since they claim to also kill mosquitos, but I didn't notice any difference with the little bloodsuckers. And the protection from K9 Advantix didn't seem to last as long so I switched back to Frontline.
Frontline works great for us. My dog is an outdoor dog and our county reportedly has more deer than people. And with deer come deer ticks. I've seen deer in my back yard and my dog's house is very near the woods for shade. And she likes to take the occasional jaunt through the woods. Still I rarely find a tick on her. And when I do, they're usually dead (or soon will be).
I wish I'd known Amazon was selling Frontline for a better price sooner. I've been purchasing only 3 months worth for about $50 from another site for the last 2 years. Very frustrating since before you know it, you're out. With 6 months worth I only have to remember 2 times a year instead of 4.

The Best There Is! Jun 13, 2005
By G. Reid Frontline Plus is the best way to keep fleas and ticks off your dog. It is applied once per month in about 3 minutes. It seems to have little or no side effects on the dog. It has been used for many years on dogs without problems. I checked all products and asked various vets and everyone agrees that Frontline Plus is the best way to keep ticks and fleas off your dog. The Plus even kills the flea eggs.

Great Item it is a Must Buy. Aug 03, 2008
By Lindsay J. Mcbrayer Do not believe the Negative review of this item. I have spoken with the person who made the negative claims before I purchaced from this seller. I learned that he is a Vet. I asked him if he had purchaced the Item from the seller and he said no he had not. So then I asked him how does he know that it is not approved by the EPA. His Awnser was that no one can be selling it that cheap. I contacted the Seller he promised me that it is 100% Authinic Front Line made by Merial. He explained that VET's hate him becaue he is is selling the same product that they can sell but he is takeing less of a profit and that the Vet's are marking theses items up to get rich. I am one who does not want to be price- gouged. Buy from Goodbyfleaz they are the best. Belive the real buyer not the liars.

Be Aware Of The Fake Oct 18, 2011
By Mauricio Balter I bought Frontline Plus here and NOTHING happened to the fleas. Checking on the Internet I read about COUNTERFEIT Frontline and when I bought Frontline from Petco I could see the difference. Fake ones are in metric, ml, not oz and the packing differs from the original, etc. There's a PDF online from EPA explaining the differences. Just be aware.

Doesn't kill ticks or repel mosquitoes May 18, 2005
By K. Kirkpatrick If you live in a wooded area (particularly in the northeast US), you might want to use Advantix instead. Advantix repels mosquitoes (and Frontline doesn't), and it also does a better job than Frontline in killing ticks. My dog was on Frontline, but ticks were still crawling all over him. The switch to Advantix has helped a lot.
