| | Description | This clamp makes pocket-hole joints as easy to clamp as they are to make. One side of the adjustable locking plier clamp is formed into a pin that mates perfectly into a 3/8" pocket hole, and the other side has a swivel pad that allows the clamp to align perfectly with the mating surface. Comfort grips eliminate pinching when releasing the clamp. Once you try the RAC you will wonder how youve been doing pocket-hole joints without it! Also great for assembling all types of box joints. | |

A slightly improved version of Kreg's original right angle clamp Dec 06, 2008
By New England Yankee The major difference between this and Kreg's original version (still available) is the handle padding, though this version does away with the inner vice-grip release lever also (it's not really necessary). For the same money, you might as well buy these for the extra comfort, particularly if you are doing a lot of carcasses. As I said in my review of the original, there is simply no substitute for these, and they work exceptionally well.

Must have for pocket holes Mar 08, 2009
By Joe the trim guy I just bought a K2 jig and both the KHC RAC right angle clamp and the KHC premium face clamp. I built a cabinet today using all three Kreg products. I am very impressed. Construction was very fast and accurate.
The RAC made it very easy to attach a solid wood edging to the plywood top and attaching the sides to the top. In fact a couple times I thought it would be nice to have 2.
The KHC made the face frame assembly quick and easy. The joints separated slightly while driving the screw but pulled together well and stayed flush.
It has been a long time since I have been this pleased with a tool. The Kreg system is going to change how I assemble projects.

Works as advertised Aug 31, 2010
By Eric Irwin I bought this with the Kreg Jr. pocket hole kit, and used it to build a set of shelves for my closet. I gutted my closet and started over with painted particle board, and built a new organization system. The pocket hole kit as well as this clamp are a very nice combination, and really met my needs. In just loose fitting it together, I measured and everything was in-square and ready to be tightened down. I think you could probably use the kit without this clamp, but it sure makes it faster, and you don't have to worry about your work jumping around as you drive the screws. The only recommendation I would make is to put a piece of painter's tape over the part of the jaw that comes in contact with any of your work.

Kreg -RAC Apr 08, 2009
By Corsair977 I have always loved Kreg products, and this little item is something I was waiting a long time for them to offer. (I built my own pair long before they started selling them). There are two things wrong with this clamp. 1. The adjust screw is badly machined and binds. 2. The rubber handles are too big and tend to turn and slip when applying pressure.
For it's intended use,, it works great.

A must have if you do pocket holes. Jun 07, 2009
By Tyman I built half my project without the use of this clamp using the Kreg system. Then I received this clamp and finished it. I wish I would not have even started the project without this clamp because it makes it so much easier.
