4Good, but not what I expected  Sep 19, 2011 By F. Galia
I'm not a coffee snob but I do enjoy high quality coffee. This is a high quality coffee, but the description says "medium", which I thought was a medium roast. It's actually a blend of dark and medium to medium/light beans, with mostly darker roasted beans. There's nothing wrong with that, but I was expecting an all around medium roast. So you'll get a lot of that dark, earthy flavor if you enjoy that. I've been trending to prefer medium to medium/light roasts.
I've been making this coffee in my Bunn Velocity Brew machine, and when brewed this way, at least to me, a lot of the flavors are muted. It could be the machine's fault, because it's designed to brew coffee in 3 minutes, and maybe this blend needs a full 4 minutes to extract all the flavor. It was only when I made espresso with my Gaggia machine that I finally was able to extract all the delicious flavors in this blend, which are flavors more reminiscent of dark roasts (earthy, cocoa).
So, while I bought this to make regular coffee, it makes a much better espresso, even americano. Brew it this way if you can.

5Great Coffee!!!  Dec 20, 2010 By Just Me "Customer"
Not much to say about this that hasn't been said in previous reviews. I'll get to the point.
Full flavored, Smooth, Gives you that get up and go Caffeine Kick.

Worth Every Penny.

The three sisters blend is in the Top Three coffee's I've ever purchased.

I will order again when I run out.

5Three kicking sisters  Jun 28, 2011 By Review Rarely "torevuornot"
I concur with the positive reviews about this coffee blend.

I'm generally wary of medium blends, unless I know the region mix well enough. Overall, it's a sure bet. The medley of Indonesian, Central and South American beans, guarantees a light, medium and dark roast roller-coaster in every sip. This is a very even, all-around smooth blend, that's highly drinkable any time of the day -- or night ; ).

If you can adjust the coffee-to-water ratio according to your liking before the brew cycle, you'll be able to even accentuate or lessen the "kick" these three sisters pack per cup. Don't think twice about buying this blend. It'll be your new favorite for quite some time.

5My favorite coffee.  Jan 29, 2011 By Dave
This is my favorite coffee in the world. Back when my wife and I lived in Canada, this is the only coffee we'd buy. Once we moved to America, we lost our supply. I stopped drinking coffee altogether. Once this popped up on Amazon, we started purchasing it again.

This stuff is delicious. It's rich, full-flavored, but also smooth and not overly bitter (even when finely ground and steeped for quite a while). And, even better, it is organic and fair trade.

Best coffee on the planet.

5Best I've had in a while  Dec 28, 2010 By Lydia
This coffee is really super fantastic. Not bitter in the least and completely smooth. All the other reviewers were right - if you like coffee, you gotta try it. I ordered it on auto-shipping and I'm glad I did.
