Very helpful to improve golf swing Apr 28, 2010
By Yingyot Chanthawornsawat This golf swing aid is very helpful. This piece helps to generate the feeling of the correct golf swing. It is also helpful to fix your swing when you somehow lose it.
The disadvantage is that it is fit for adult (man) not fit for kid or lady.

Improvement with time Jun 25, 2010

I picked the Izzo Smooth Swing on the advice of a friend. I felt a little silly putting it on the first time and make short swings. I have a routine of taking about 100 swings in the backyard every day (weather permitting). After getting used to the arm positions it was interesting and I could feel improvement.
Now I wear this on the practice range for a few swings, just to get the body motion. My game has improved.

Right idea but slips Feb 21, 2011
By aspen9120 I have always had a little of a 'flying elbow' kind of like Jack Nicholas (except it worked for him and not so much for me) and this type of training aid is made to correct that. My arms seperating at the top of the swing cause me to point the club right of the target at the top of my swing (I'm right handed) which causes me to come over the top and hit pulls or fades. It also slows my clubhead speed at impact from an early release.
I think that the idea is right, but the problem I have is that it slips and slides up and down my arms when I try to swing with it. I could be that I'm not doing it right or that I just haven't gotten used to it so I don't want to say it won't work for you. My other hobby is weight lifting and it could be that because my upper arms are bigger than average it causes a problem - everyone I see using this on video has smaller arms.
I think that if there were a non-slip material on the inside it would be better.
As with any training aid be sure that your swing flaw is addressed by the aid. I found good videos on YouTube that directed me toward this type of aid (they used an adjustable version of this that I couldn't find and might not slip).

Excellent training aid - shouldn't be without one Apr 14, 2011
By Ray F. Brown This training aid has done more to improve my golf swing and results than any other piece of training equipment I have ever tried. It absolutely will not allow you to use bad arm and elbow movements. It will take your mind off that and let you think about other elements like shoulder/body rotation and wrist release. I practice with it for 30 minutes every day with each club in my golf bag. I carry it in my golf bag so I can use it on the course if (more like when) my muscles lose their memory. Brings it all right back right away. I absolutely recommend it for any golfer.
