this computer is fast and was easy to use and set up. everything is compact, yet easy to find and use. I had no problems opening and setting this computer up to run. highly recommend, and this is my 3rd HP computer, and as usual, HP delivers a quality product

5I love it so far  Jul 09, 2010 By Noorah101
I just got this computer and set it up last night. Just had to comment on how great it is so far! Everything was very easy to set up. It took me longer to dismantle my old computer equipment than it did to set this new one up! I was surprised to find that the keyboard and mouse that come with it are wireless. I was not expecting that. But it comes with the wireless provider to plug in the back, so it's all good. I actually prefer my old trackball mouse, so will probably get an adapter for that (this computer only uses USB ports) and not use the wireless mouse. I also have a very old printer with the old style of hookup (the prongs with a screw on each side). But I know I can get an adapter for that as well, and plug it into a USB port on this new computer. I had no trouble connecting to my existing cable internet at all. I can't wait to explore more on it!

5totally satisfied  Aug 18, 2010 By Randy
This product met all of my expectations right out of the box. The great looks and ease of use are incredible. After set up and testing the internal speakers for sound quality which were excellent I tried the head phone jack and got awesome digital sound. The wireless key board and mouse looks great and seem to be of good quality not to mention the extra room i now have. I feel this is a modestly priced unit for the screen size and picture quality. So far so satisfied.

5Pretty freakin' fabolous, HP  Sep 30, 2010 By D'sIsaak
I really like this computer. I've always bought HP's and this computer is no exception--it IS the exception. The biggest problem that I have had with this computer is the huge freakin' screen that it has. 22 inches diagonal is bigger than it sounds.

The speakers are 'normal,' if you know what that means. If not, then the speakers are just pretty ordinary and will never be mistaken for surround sound audio, but they are loud enough for me to watch a movie and clean my room. Don't try it with a really old vacuum though--you won't hear a thing from the computer.

The wireless mouse and keypad that come with it work great together, but if you are a serious gamer, you will want to upgrade your mouse, as the plastic is a little fragile. I haven't broken my mouse into pieces, but I could see it snapping in two for someone who drops it on the floor. But the great part about the included wireless kit (yes, I did say 'included'), it only takes one port. That means you have six other ports to play with out of seven.

The built-in computer fan will get loud when loading a disc, but that's normal. I've never known a computer that was quiet all of the time. Trust me; it gets quiet. My bedroom fan makes more noise than this computer.

The color is a glossy black, so be careful; you will leave fingerprints. It's unavoidable unless you keep the plastic covering on the screen to preserve it.

Have not tried the webcam the month that I've owned it, so I won't comment on that.

The wireless works. Setup was easy. Take it out of the box, connect the wires, plug it in, let it prompt you; BINGO, you have a new 35lb electronic friend on your computer desk.

For computer games (i.e. The Sims 3, World of Warcraft), it plays flawlessly and without interruption. Movies, it streams great. Music, crystal clear (except for older and loud vacuums). I've owned it for a month and there is not a day that goes by when I am not on it. I'm on it right now, actually.

Things to consider:

1) Be careful; this computer is ALL screen. The CPU, the monitor--everything is in one, big, 22 inch screen.

2) This is NOT a true hardware engineer's/graphic designer's/gamer's computer, but as long as you're not looking to sync this baby up to your TV (via HDMI cable), your separate game console, do web design applications for typography class, and count on this as your one and only stereo system (all at the same time), you'll be fine. It does have ports for these things though.

3) The included programs are BASIC. No MS (Microsoft applications)except word processor, which they don't even make anymore (2009 was the last year) and a Powerpoint View Finder. I'm sure you guys would probably know that, but I was just including it in here anyway.

5Excellent Computer  Aug 31, 2010 By Louis R. Sipos
I purchased this to replace a nine year old Dell desktop. It is very easy to set up and I was able to get up and running in minutes. It has plenty of power for my puposes and is very easy to operate. Being an all-in-one, it takes up much less space than my old computer. I would highly recommend this computer. It has all the advantages of a desktop, but takes up little more space than a laptop.
