 Works hard with you- even on small arms Aug 24, 2010

If you run, rollerblade or bike this arm band is great. For all of your milage tracking apps, this will keep your phone secure. I'm just over 5 feet so finding armbands that will fit snug are a challenge. Even during plyo workouts it stays put. I purchased the Nano version of this band and liked it so much I purchased the whole armband in the iphone size just to have the additional case. I know other reviews say they are unhappy that you cannot rotate the clip part- I have never found a need to rotate it.
On flights, the clip part stays out and acts as a stand so I can place it on my tray to watch movies. The hard plastic case will slide out of the clip part and make it easy to use with or without the arm band. The only tough part is getting the clip part out of the arm strap. Because it is incredibly secure, I find I have to use a pencil or letter opener to wiggle the thing apart if I want to keep the clip with the phone case.
You will still need to purchase a sticky cover, but this way you can choose the quality that works for you.
This is by far the best accessory I have ever found for any personal electronic device- ever.

Pros:
Good looking clear case.
Cons:
Clip does not rotate.
Case feels flimsy where the two pieces meet.
Slide on clip pulls the case apart when taking off the clip.
Note: I haven't used the armband at all, so I don't have any opinions about that.
I had the first model of this case and clip. The first model snaped together in the front and back. This worked well with the exception of if you dropped it would break into three pieces. It kept the iPhone save w/o any problems. The other difference is that the clip snapped into place on the back. The downsides to the old case was it was a little more open so pocket lint and arm hair (which looks like that other kind of curly hair) would get caught in it. After serving me well for over a year it looks pretty gross.
So I went ahead and updated to this model and I've been quite disappointed. Biggest thing is that that I didn't notice the clip DOES NOT ROTATE! I really only need the clip when I snap it to the top of the elliptical machine at the gym and watch video podcasts and TV shows. When pulling off the clip it pulls off the bottom part of the phone case. This may loosen with time, but the fact that it doesn't rotate means the clip is going into the trash.
The case itself is nice w/ the exception of where the two parts of the cases meet on the front side of the phone. The top part of the case ends in sort of a triangle shaped piece of plastic that moves back and fourth. I know this is picky, but it's white where I hold it and it feels like it's going to break.
For someone looking to have a case to strap on their arm and go running this might work. But for me it's a huge disappointment. Unfortunately there aren't many options out there for cases that have removable clips.
