Finally, a reason to keep the Keurig! Jan 20, 2010
By Roberta M. Thornton

I have had my Keurig for ten days now. Since I was waiting for my Amazon-ordered Green Mountain Dark Magic Decaf to arrive via Fed Ex, I was using the free variety sampler pack that came with the machine. I was certain that the whole Keurig thing was hype. The coffee was weak. The coffee was fruity-winy, just what I dislike in my coffee mug. I had even tried the hot chocolate and thought it was about the same as Swiss Miss in an envelope: crappy-tasting and limpid. Last night, things started to look up: I had a Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Spice herbal tea, and that was verrrry good. And today, my Dark Magic arrived. Just had two cups. It's dark. It's rich. It's bold. It's smooth. It accepts my half-and-half and stands up to it. It's a heckuva cup of coffee. Maybe I'll keep the Keurig after all.

This is an acceptable coffee offering from the folks at Green Mountain. Rich without bitterness or burnt flavors, the strength and balance of this brew should satisfy most palates. If Sumatra is not available, this will suffice.

Impressive Decaf Jul 08, 2010
By MM I managed to taste this before purchasing and I have to say, in taste and character, it is easily equal to its non-decaffeinated counterparts. It makes a hearty cup with no bitter aftertaste. My sister in law likes to mix it with flavored coffee for strength (as the Green Mountain flavors tend to be on the light side), I like it on its own. An impressive decaf.

Great for those who like their coffee strong and dark May 23, 2010

After we received our Keurig I tried numerous decaf coffees(that's all I can drink). This was my definite favorite. I make the most concentrated brew, and some cream and yumm. It's a great alternative to my Starbuck's (short double decaf americano).

Dark Magic Decaff Jan 18, 2010
By Beaker

This is the best decaff coffee that I have found in K-cups. Actually I like a 50:50 mixture of caff and decaff coffee so I blend the Dark Magic caff and the Dark Magic decaff in a 20 ounce mug. This is a much better option than buying the Green Mountain Half Caff which has a really poor taste.
