I was just a little concerned that the replacement part might not fit. I was pleasantly surprised that it not only fit but was very easy to install. The product shipped very quick as the old valve was leaking and needed replacement ASAP. I would recommend Amazon.com for the best price, fast shipping, and having just the right part for the job.

Not knowing the problem, every time I would try to dispense water from my GE Fridge the switch would operate, I could hear the water trying to come up, I replaced the filter to no avail. I took a chance and bought this Water Valve after reading some troubleshooting posts. The valve arrived packaged nicely, and surprisingly easy to install. I get instant water now when pressing dispense. I've had it installed now for more than 6 months with no problems or leaks.

Purchased for our side by side refrigerator with water/ice in door water wouldn't flow and ice was slow to make.
followed enclosed directions and new valve got it working like new again and saved expensive service call charges by doing it myself!!
