Kinesis Freestyle Solo Keyboard A traditional but compact key layout makes adaptation a breeze, but that's where traditional keyboard design ends. The Freestyle consists of two keying modules connected together by the flexible Pivot Tether, which allows infinite adjustment of the front opening angle (splay). Removing the Pivot Tether allows the two modules to completely separate up to six inches, accommodating a range of shoulder widths (optional model provides 20 inch separation). Driverless hot keys replacing mouse-intensive actions, Low-profile design to promote neutral wrist posture, Narrow footprint allowing closer reach of a mouse, and embedded 10-key with status LED. A separate 10-key is available, USB compatible.

I highly recommend this keyboard. Being able to separate the left and right hand sides is a BIG plus, and a must have for an ergo keyboard. After trying dozens of ergo keyboards and not finding any satisfying ones (and surprised how some companies can claim their keyboards are 'ergo' or 'natural' when they really aren't), this is offers excellent functionality and reasonable price ... NOTE: I got the one w/ the 20inch separation! The other "default" one, is too short in my opinion to be of good use. 20" separation lets you position the keys parallel to the chairs' arm rests, meaning no twisting of the wrists, a true godsend. Typing is much more comfortable now as a result.
Must get; VIP package (sold separately). If you are considering a Kinesis keyboard, you should just get he VIP, this will allow you to get the benefit of this keyboard: rotating the keys at 30 degree angle is very comfortable.
Also: Make sure you get the 20" separation keyboard (not the usual 3 or 6 inch one which in my opinion is too short
FInally, is this keyboard perfect? No... it could have mechanical switches, or a "left handed" keyboard layout for the left hand, a "better" keyboard (and the only one I know of w/ the "left handed" layout) would be a uTron, available only in Japan and prices start at $600 plus tax and import fees!!
So far the Freestyle Solo really hits the mark at a much more reasonable price. My only regret is not having bought it sooner. Works fine on Mac (though some of the extra function buttons on the left side).
