great if it fits Oct 12, 2010
By Thor This feels great on wrists, but the gel is too thick to use the touchpad, plus it is not nearly a big enough space even if it worked. Would be great on PC, but it just doesn't fit a notebook (at least not my macbook). Ended up cutting the two ends off and placing them. This works ok but it's a pain to carry and set up.

Perfect wrist rest Jul 03, 2010

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Very comfortable. Has helped my carpal tunnel and made it much easier to type for long periods of time.

Great product Jan 12, 2012
By MadHatter This product is awesome. I'm often typing for hours on end, and it's nice to not hold my wrists in the air. You can remove it and put it back on the laptop easily. Sometimes it takes a second to get it set right (i.e. not messing with the touch pad).
To all those complaining about the touch pad area, yes the pad area is pretty small, but here's a thought: get a wireless mouse for $20. Problem solved. Touch pads suck anyways.
Also, the heels of my palms used to inadvertently hit the touch pad, clicking the cursor randomly around the screen. This doesn't happen anymore, another plus of this fine product.

so-so Jan 28, 2011
By ab Great for your wrists if working at a laptop bothers your wrist bones. It was too big for my laptop, but I could overlook that. The big downside was that that it is way to thick to use the touch pad through- I had to connect a mouse, which I am not a fan of. I feel like there has to be a better way. To save my wrists some pain, I'll hold onto it. If you like using a mouse with your laptop it is a very good buy.

Instant Comfort and Support Oct 28, 2011

***EDIT #2*** Used the pad for a good long time now, and it has not lost any of it's support, feels brand new to the hands. I wish I could say the same thing about my Allsop mousepad, I wonder if Fellowes makes a mousepad like this wrist pad... ***EDIT*** The smell is gone, pad still performs as expected. Very comfortable typing for extended periods of time ********** Got this to put on my MacBook Pro 15 inch for a good wrist rest. I needed one of these things badly; being in college, a lot of time is spent typing on the computer, and I want to reduce the risk of RSI and wrist pain. I have already taken the first step and learned how to type using Dvorak (highly recommended, great typing format). I previously tried the Intelligels® GENII Soft Foam **Laptop Computer** Wrist Rest! and it was absolutely terrible, as the foam wasn't thick, and the bands separating the two pads were a joke.
Getting this has been a great step up. You get a very soft microfiber fabric, gel filled, pad that has cuts in it to encourage proper palm placement in a "V" pattern. The only "drawback" is that it completely covers up your trackpad, but honestly, the places you will be using this will be when you are using your laptop as a home pc, having a USB or Bluetooth mouse connected, not while you are on the go.
Performance-wise, this is very comfortable and feels very durable. It has the slight weird smell to it that is to be expected with gel products but that will more than likely go away soon. As an aside, you CAN "close" you laptop (15 inch MPB) with this still on the computer, it is just thin enough to allow the screen to lower and shut off. I'm not worried about anything happening to the screen due to the fabric being microfiber, and not worried about smudges because of the Microban (antimicrobial) coating.
All in all, a great buy, very worthwhile if you type on a laptop at home.
