2PRICE RAISE!!!  Mar 22, 2008 By Patricia Smith
I was pleased to be able to keep these on hand for baking and other cooking purposes so I subscribed to them monthly. I am aware that the cost of food items has gone up recently but I was shocked to see that they had gone from 26.00 the first month to 53.00 the second month. Needless to say I stopped my subscription after they were sent automatically (per my request of course) but I did not notice the price raise until after I had received them. Product is fair but way way to pricey now for the results.

4Great for Christmas Cookies  Dec 20, 2008 By Memaw Crowley "Amazon Addict"
The Deb-El whole eggs taste fine in my Christmas cookies this year. This is the first time in years that I've used powdered eggs to bake with. The taste of the finished cookies was comparable to the product made with fresh eggs. They are expensive but I quickly run out of refrigerator room during holiday baking season and this seems like a good solution.

I often use something besides water to reconstitute them which gives the cookies a better flavor. For example, I make a triple cholcolate cookie which calls for instant coffee - which I don't keep in the house. I used brewed coffee instead of water with the egg powder and the cookie flavor was great!

I did try using them in scrambled eggs for breakfast and was not impressed with the results.

5Excellent Product Price has Doubled  Jan 17, 2011 By Holistic Friend
This is a great product, I use them in baking and to keep around for emergencies. The price doubled though since I ordered it and some have written that it tripled for them. 6 cans for over $100. is out of my ballpark. If they ever go down to $35.00 I will reconsider. I gave the product 5 stars because it is perfect, just not the price.

4bakied well  Mar 05, 2011 By alco
tried these for baking and they performed well, cake turned out great,,as an omelet they are somewhat flat and i would recommend adding some veggies, ham, bacon bits, i tried some bacon salt that helped with the taste, they were edible certainly just not a lot of flavor, adding something to enhance flavor to the omelet would be great, i did not try cheese, although it woudl add certainly to cooked eggs.

5My daughter loves the weight and convienience  Dec 21, 2008 By Sharon O'Hara
I bought these for those few times I need eggs for a recipe and ran out of 'real' eggs and for any emergency situation.
I gave one can to my adult daughter and she LOVED them and wanted more! No waiting for emergencies for her...but the light weight and ease of a non refrigerated egg product sold her and she uses this product full time.
