I'm zooming now. Sep 17, 2010
By Clem C. Lambeth My 7-year-old XP was continually running slow and freezing up in spite of considerable maintenance with anti-virus, malware, optimization and registry fix software. My memory meter was always running low. I was concerned about spending money not knowing if the RAM would fix my problems but it did. Now it boots up quickly and never gives me any problems like I had before. VERY HAPPPY.

1 GB Memory Upgrade for Dell Dimension 4700 Jun 14, 2010
By James D. Draper Our secretary has a Dell Dimension 4700 Plain Jane PC with 512Mb of RAM running Windows XP. She complained that it was slowing down so to keep her happy I pulled out the specs to see what was required for an upgrade. The Dell part number for a 1 GB memory module was A0735470 (aka SNPXG700C/1G). Dell's listed price was $42.99 plus S&H. An online search identified the Crucial Technology part as being equivalent at $25.83 with free S&H from Amazon. My first try at installation squeezed underneath her desk with bad lighting didn't take so I tried repositioning the card again and I finally got it snapped in correctly. After a reboot she was back in business with 1.5 GB of RAM. Total time may have been 10 or 15 minutes.

Really easy; works really well Feb 22, 2010

I bought four of these for my older Dell E-510. My order was delivered on exactly the day specified when I ordered. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the two old memory cards (256MB each) and install the four new ones. When I restarted my computer it immediately recognized all four gigs; I did not have to do anything else. Everything runs way faster now.

cheap, quality for price Jan 12, 2010

I bought this for an older Dell that I had at 700Mb memory. I maxed it out with two 1gig memory cards. These fit right in with no trouble at all. The PC reconized them once I booted it up. I certainly see a difference in performance booting the PC up or running programs. I have brought this brand before and haven't had a problem or a bad card yet.

Still in My Computer Apr 29, 2011
By William Bagley These RAM sticks are a little hard to really review. I do not notice RAM sticks unless they stop working. I put these sticks in and they worked. When I had some trouble with the computer, I ran several diagnostic programs and these sticks passed every test (I later solved the problem somewhere else in the computer). So far, I have not had any trouble with the Crucial brand (and a few other brands too). I have had to replace one or two from other brands.
