The ATI top folding stock is a really cool idea for a person who wants maximum badas$ for the least amount of money. I have a Maverick 88 and the only thing that bugs me is that the stock doesn't lay completely flat like in the picture, but when the shotshell holder is added, the extra weight helps to hold it down. The stock has a unconditional lifetime warranty which is always good.

Good bolt on fit. I use it on my knockoff remmington 870 and was able to put it on in a couple minutes. I'm not sure if this is a problem for other makes of guns, but on the washer that was supplied with the kit the hole was barely smaller than the head of the supplied bolt. It fit snug when I first installed it, but after firing it about ten times the recoil pushed the stock away from the gun and just bent the washer until it crumpled up and loosened the stock so bad I had to stop shooting. I took it apart and got a new washer from Lowe's and that fixed it, but I would recommend just going out and buying a better fitting washer before you even put it on the first time. After I did that, I've gone through another couple boxes of shells with no problem.

I put this on my mossberg 500 persuader. the gun looks like a beast. Installation was simple i just popped it on and tightened the screw. it feels good and operates smoothly. when its open/folded it doesnt allow you to easily acces the top safety of a mossberg so take note of that(hence why it only got four stars). other than that i couldnt have been happier with the product. overall it gives my shotgun compactness, intimidation, and a quick deployable stock. just what i wanted.

I got one for my Mossberg 590. It would work great for a shotgun with the safety at the front of the trigger guard; not so much for those with the safety on top. No matter what position the stock is in, you have to significantly move your hand to manipulate the top-mounted safety. As the title indicates, this stock looks fan-freakin-tastic when folded up, but the practicality is pretty much nil. Installation and take-down is very easy.

I bought this locally for my Mossberg 835, The pistol grip is nice and it was easy to instal. However I was not impressed by the quality of the stock. It felt cheap its made of plastic. It didn't fold completely touching the top of the gun. There was half an inch gap between the but pad and the top of the receiver. Also there is no recoil pad and on a 12 gauge shotgun with anything more than target loads are going to kill. But the biggest problem for me was the way the stock obstructs access to the safety when folded. This is only a problem on the Mossberg because of the ambidextrous safety. Bottom line looks Sweet but is not practical on the mossberg. I ended up trading it in for ATI collapsable stock and I'm very happy with that.
