| | Description | The 'Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' (IEEE) Let-Through Voltage rating is based on a test that subjects a Surge Protector to a 6,000 volt spike. The rating equates to the amount of excess voltage that reaches connected equipment. The lower the number, the better the performance of the Surge Protector is. Underwriter's Laboratory's UL1449 surge protection safety standard uses these ratings to help users gauge performance. UL's best Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor (TVSS) Let-Through Voltage rating is "300V". Status Indicator LED's: Provides a quick visual indication of your unit's status. Transformer Block Spacing: Connect bulky transformer block plugs without covering up other outlets. | |

Excellent Value!! Sep 26, 2007
By A. Hanaoka A very good value for 1080 Joules of protection. Most others in this range cost a lot more.

Not the best but adequate Nov 20, 2008
By Dolamyt This is a good surge protector but from its own box it reveals that it is not the best you can get. However, something is better than nothing. It is made very sturdy and and has covers for unused outlets.

A quality product at a great value... Dec 19, 2007
By J. Robbins I bought 2 of these for my grandfather to hook up his TV and DVD/VHS player, etc. and I was very pleased with their quality. I think it is a great choice for household use when powering TVs, computers, etc.

Saved my electronics Sep 12, 2011
By LANCASTER SIGN CO and Linda A. I had a power surge in my house, when the electric company didn't tighten a wire to a new transformer. This surge suppressor saved my tv, blu-ray player, stereo, dvd recorder & cable box. It fried the suppressor & the company had a new one to me within a week of my calling them. I wish I would have had the same brand suppressor on my computer & bedroom dvd player, because those things were not saved. I should actually buy them for all the electronic stuff I had to replace, which included a fridge, stove, water softener, alarm clock, etc. I have since put APC on my computer & am buying more for work.

Good value and good design Jun 01, 2011
By Dave H Good design and features for a low-price surge protector. The small power swith is difficult to accidently trip. Four covers are included for unused outlets. The bottom outlet has a little extra space for plugging in a larger AC adaptor. Holes for wall-mounting can be used in four directions.
