Best of several consumer/commercial keyboard trays I've tried!!! May 03, 2008

I have tried several keyboard trays and this one was very simple to install under my desk and it really helps take the pressure of my wrists/arms from having my keybard too high on the desk. This item is also easily adjustable and not one of those you will hit your knees on! I also like the mouse pull out to the right. However, to keep it out, you have to use the lowest adjustable setting of the 3. Great product! The other cool thing is it's not the expensive one out there, so you'll be good with this one!

Listed dimensions are misleading Mar 30, 2010
By R. S. Kadish The Amazon listing for this keyboard tray gives it's width as 25", but that could only be true if you were measuring from one edge of the brackets to another with the brackets already installed. The actual interior tray size is slightly less than 21.5". I bought this because my keyboard is just over 21.5" long and it doesn't fit in the tray.

good keyboard tray Jun 14, 2011
By Kevin It was easy to install and works well. My favorite thing about it is that on the lowest level I have enough room to type without pulling out the drawer. The thing I don't like is the mouse tray, which is flimsy and awkward to use.

Decent Keyboard Tray Feb 12, 2011

For the price (especially on Amazon), this keyboard tray is OK. Out of the box, there is very little hardware - four brackets and some screws. Now, the installation part....
Upon installation, the brackets are very flimsy. Although the tray is tightly secured to the desk, it moves and shakes because the brackets bend very easily. The screws are also very cheap, and strip easily. Lastly, the gel wrist provided in the box is nice material - but not comfortable at all. I had to use another one.
I type 8 hours a day. Would I purchase this item again? probably not. Fortunately, my employer reimbursed me for this item.
Do a little research. Amazon is great, and may have another tray for cheaper. Don't be mislead by the 3M sticker.

flimsy brackets Nov 29, 2008

I would pay more to have a framed bracket and a mouse tray that doesn't force you to remove the mouse when you push the drawer in.
The drawer itself is nice, but the overall design is ill-conceived, and has the indications that it wasn't really tested by real users.
I don't know what the other guy was thinking... I guess if you never need to push in your drawer or don't need the mouse tray, and are a light user, then I can see how they would rate this high (or they're in a ratings-mill in India lol...)
